E & H Baxendale Ltd are specialists in the design and manufacture of timber trussed rafters and easi-joist® the metal web floor and roof joist. We are also suppliers of ancillary products such as straps, clips, bracing, infill timbers and glulam beams. We have been in business for over 50 years and have been supplying trussed rafters for more than 30 years, we are equipped with the latest design software from Wolf Systems Ltd, are a founding member of the Trussed Rafter Association and are ISO 9001 registered.

The roof trusses we design and manufacture range from very simple designs to very complex designs, from small extensions to large developments. We supply to the self builder, small, medium and large sized builders as well as Builders Merchants. Based in Lancashire we deliver throughout the Northwest, north Wales and as far north as Stranraer in south west Scotland. Because of increasing delivery costs only large projects will be delivered outside these areas. If you are able to collect your order, we will take enquiries for projects throughout the UK and abroad. 19th November 2008 - Christmas & New Year Opening Times

Our offices and factory will close on Friday 19th December for two weeks re-opening in the new year on Monday 5th January 2009. During this time enquires can be submitted via email, fax, or post. If you do send an enquiry during this time please allow at least one week for us to work our way through the Christmas backlog.

24th October 2008 - Granada Reports

Today we received a visit from Granada Reports, they interviewed Joanne about how the credit crunch is affecting business. Although overall production is down compared with last year we are continuing to receive large orders as you can see from the next news item.

24th October 2008 - Making the Villas the easi way

E & H Baxendale Ltd recently supplied a complete easi-joist floor and roof package for the prestigous Villas at Kensington Developments Lytham Quays development. Today Kensington Developments placed an order for a further 3 Villas (out of a total of 16 on the site) to be delivered over the next month or so. Each villa contains approximately 100 joists each as well as a large number of roof trusses and infill timbers. easi-joist is a metal web floor system designed for engineered floor applications and boasts quality performance, ease of use and design versatility. The open web system ensures there is no need to notch or drill for services. easi-joist was the first metal web floor system to have gained Robust Detail Approval, Irish Agrément Board Certification and European Technical Approval.
