For a long time we have designed and manufactured trussed rafters for a local builders merchant, they also supply some of our structural wind bracing and process our timber through their onsite pressure treatment plant, we have now extended this partnership to include JJI-Joists of which they are an authorised distributor.

So send us your JJI-Joist enquiry and we will have the design produced by our partner, we will then produce the full quotation including joist hangers and anything else you request, if you are happy with the quote we will place the order with our partner who will deliver the JJI-Joists direct to site or we will collect them and then deliver to you on site.

JJI-Joists are structurally engineered timber joists that are constructed from a 9mm OSB web with C24 graded softwood flanges ranging from 47mm to 97mm in width, in depths between 145mm and 450mm.

Building the villa’s the easi-way

Last week we visited Kensington Developments Lytham Quays site to have a look at their Villa collection, for which we have been supplying the easi-joist metal web floor joist packages and trussed rafter roof packages.

Each villa requires approximately 120 joists and 123 trussed rafters and 129 lengths of infill timber. To date we have supplied eight floor and roof packages and Kensington's plan to build a total of sixteen Villa's.

Building the villa’s the easi-way

In early October E & H Baxendale Ltd supplied a complete easi-joist floor and roof package for the prestigous Villas at Kensington Developments Lytham Quays development. To date we have supplied a total of 4 easi-joist floor and roof packages for the development.

Today Kensington Developments placed an order for a further 2 Villas (out of a total of 16 on the site) to be delivered over the next month or so. Each villa contains approximately 100 joists each as well as a large number of roof trusses and infill timbers.

easi-joist is a metal web floor system designed for engineered floor applications and boasts quality performance, ease of use and design versatility. The open web system ensures there is no need to notch or drill for services. easi-joist was the first metal web floor system to have gained Robust Detail Approval, Irish Agrément Board Certification and European Technical Approval.
