easi-joist Stud Details Coming Soon

easi-joist timber frame and trussed raftersFollowing the delivery of another easi-joist timber frame and trussed rafter package earlier this week, we have been working on a number of details that can be put up on the website to help illustrate how easi-joist works as a stud to form a timber frame.

By the way the package we delivered earlier this week was similar to the Boar's Den Barn project, in fact the delivery address was across the road. We hope to be able to upload some photos over the coming week or two.

Update:27/04/2011: We have put together a few information sheets that show various construction details for easi-joist stud walls, until the pdf copies are uploaded to the site for you to view and download I have put the images on the E & H Baxendale Ltd Flickr photostream some of which can also be viewed in the slideshow below

I have now added a couple of illustrations to flickr, one of which we are using in our easi-joist information sheet for 2010. As the image says, easi-joist is a metal web joist system that can be used to form walls, floors, flat and pitched roofs, easi-joist simply is the whole house engineering product.

Today we delivered our first easi-joist timber frame package, it consisted of two types of easi-joist wall joists and a package of loose timbers. I hope to visit the site in a few days when the structure is up to take a few pictures for the website.
