One problem we face when designing an easi-joist floor is lack of information about stairs, plans often show stairs but rarely provide enough information to enable us to provide an accurate design and quotation. To help our customers provide us with the information we need to determine the loads to apply to the easi-joist we have put together an information sheet which along with two diagrams explains which dimensions we require to provide the most accurate quotation and design possible.
The ‘Dimensions Required for Stair Loads’ information sheet is available to download from the Downloads and easi-joist enquiry pages.
The Marley & Redland product catalogues which include their full ranges of roof tiles and slates have been added to the ‘Misc’ tab on the Downloads page. We don’t stock roof coverings but the catalogues do include important information about the products such as the pitches that they will work at and their weights, which is information we require to provide an accurate quotation for trussed rafters and/or easi-joist.
To make room for more downloads I have moved all the downloads from the Links and Downloads page located at http://www.eandhbaxendale.com/links.html to a new dedicated downloads page located at http://www.eandhbaxendale.com/downloads.html
At the same time I have also re-organised the navigation panel by moving the two Links and Downloads pages out of the Company panel and into the Services panel.
The easi-joist Technical Manual has now been updated to reflect the new design values mentioned in a previous post, the easi-joist masonry and timber frame site guides have also been updated as well, these documents and more can be downloaded from the downloads page.
